Our agency provides a broad and in-depth level of service to our distributors, specifiers, contractors and end users, and a high concentration of sales effort for each manufacturer we represent (our marketing partners).

    Our Office is located in Indianapolis and our territory includes the state of Indiana. We will consider deviations from this territory. For those manufacturers who request them, we will provide annual sales forecasts and sales performance records. We can provide manufacturers with market surveys, and we are happy to work with manufacturers on custom-designed promotional materials and mailing lists.

     Our customers are both electrical and data communications distributors, who are contacted by our sales staff, both in person and by telephone, on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. In order to direct business toward the distributors, we also call on contractors, systems integrators, OEMs, specifiers, and end users. Customers are assigned to our salespeople on a geographic basis, and written proposals and quotes are provided for customers upon their request.

     Our staff consists of three outside salespeople and an inside sales support/customer service staff of five. The entire staff is compensated with a base salary and a strong sales-based bonus program. The sales staff utilizes internal training programs and any training programs offered by our manufacturers. We expect that the sponsoring manufacturer will provide lodging and meals for our staff during off-site programs.

     The agency is a member of the National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA); and the Manufacturers' Representatives Educational Research Foundation (MRERF). We participate in local trade shows sponsored by these professional associations and we expect the manufacturers we represent to share in the cost of, and provide personnel for, these events.

     Wiltrout Sales is invested heavily in our communications and information technology. We have installed new software which, along with a DSL line, gives our inside and outside sales staff instant access to all customers and manufacturers represented.
